This individually designed program involves three phases: assessment, training, and follow-up coaching. Prior to the initial visit, each participant completes a questionnaire designed to provide Ms. Garbo with insights as to management and employees' perceptions of the current conditions of the business.

The initial office visit begins with a day and a half long training sessions for all staff and owner. The purpose of the training session is to expand people's ability to communicate effectively with one another, and to provide them with communication tools that provide the basis for teamwork and an atmosphere that naturally attracts customers. It also includes training in a weekly communication meeting designed to maintain open communication in the office. Much of the information during the day will also include "internal marketing" practices.

During the three months following the initial visit, Ms. Garbo is available on an "on-call" basis for coaching, in addition to a scheduled monthly coaching call. In the fourth month, Ms. Garbo will meet again with management and employees for another training session, followed by another two months of coaching.
